題「王石谷畫杜少陵峽中詩意圖卷」 石谷以布衣畢身致力繪事，天才卓越，好古敏求，工力深湛，早經名世。此幀為其創造性之精品 ，融著少陵峽中詩意而獨出匠心。藉重重波上廻光，烘出反照入江，翻石壁之翻字；託簇簇雲間帆檣 ，暗示斷雲擁樹失山村之失字；此乃從無現有，不僅小中見大也。於七七高齡，成此微妙傑作，尤嘆 其精力充滿，至老而神明不衰矣。
