晨外出，赴銀行並修錶面。處理館務，復若干函件。下午晚報 The Hindustan Times Fvening News（半官）發表印外部 Press Note（公吿）謂「中共人民政府經印度駐華大使要求法律承認，現印度政府正硏究此問題，並召該大使囘國商量，印度政府並表示願望，現在非正式之接觸，經印度駐華領館與該新政府者，繼續維持。」此公吿等於事實承認之公吿，英國已與中共以同樣事實承認，而從不公吿，乃印度出此，可鄙！其愚亦不可及！印度官員說謊不算一囘事，尤可恥！
