上午赴泛美打聽，知昨日飛機因颱風關係未停香港，改途飛去，心緖惡亂萬分，又無他機可乘，不能不候至明日。又電曼谷與德里，因有與尼赫魯約時晤談之關係也。中午伯莊約我與詠霓等同在「華都」午餐，餐後至詠霓處坐。傍晚訪孟餘談一小時，彼仍消極。購物數事。今日中秋，晚沅恒及曾紀華約晚餐。登香港山頂徘徊，悲從中來，不可斷絕！
