昨天梅農聲明已見報，不是否認性的，一僅說昨天新聞是 Misleading 最後贅上一語，＂Recog-nition of the new Government of China is a major question which will be taken up in duecourse.＂可惡之極！今天 Hindustan Times 有一社論，追念中國與印度舊交，梅農來信討好，謂係彼inspired 。眞是把我當小孩子看了，此人全無信義，全無眞話，而欲以賣弄小聰明欺人，不知人之視之，若見其肺肝然！今天作相當活動，以抵制此事。晚赴美國海軍武官辭別酒會，遇潘廸悌夫人，彼
一再來和我招呼，表示一種欲語不盡之情，大約是爲此事心中有感。印度已決定在英聯之中。蘇聯表示願解除柏林封鎖。
