電雪艇及外交部，告以印度半官方消息，印度總理尼赫魯已在倫敦吿阿特里，謂印度將改爲共和國，但仍在帝國聯邦之內，法律問題正由法律委員會在硏究(印度稱爲 Sovereign DemocreticRepublic 把前擬 Sovereign Independent Republic 之 Independent 一字去掉)。寫阿格拉紀遊一文完，約一千字，費兩夜半天之力。下午出席鐵道部招待會。接繆孝威信。
