上午收到公文甚多，一一批答。梅農介紹 E. Narayanan 君來訪，彼係 Janata 襍誌之編輯，社會黨人，甚能幹。彼云潘尼迦約彼赴華，彼於十一月初歷東南亞諸國前往，囑寫介紹信。與彼詳談，並囑其向其黨魁致候。又 Cosmopolitan Club 之秘書 D. P. N. Mallan 來訪，請明日演講，並爲其招待會之主客，該會主動者爲 Maulana Shafiq-ur-Rahman及 Radha Ramen.。彼去後我卽預備演講稿，題爲中國幣制改革，因此事當使印人有眞正認識也。因見英外相貝文演說，謂將來百年之和平關鍵在印度洋一語，頗覺英國軍部以前東南亞聯防計畫，恐在醞釀中。故電雪艇注意此事。又彼明晚與尼赫魯在巴黎晚餐也。臨書譜。
