今晨報載印度副總理巴台爾 Patel 演講，對聯合國與安全理事會，破口大駡，謂安全理事會爲「 不安全理事會」，並對中國及緬甸均有蔑視之詞，其狂妄可見。下午訪前緬甸駐印大使 U. Win ， 彼亦大怒，欲抗議，因巴對緬詞句之惡劣，遠過對中國者也。彼以此問我。我說我不勸進，也不勸阻 ，如有相當表示，自無不可。 甘地生日。印度全國放假。
