上午 Kashmir 所認識之 A. K. Wattal 來談，彼云：彼在 Srinagar 最後與聯合國委員會中代表談，知彼等現又主張將 Kashmir 由印、巴瓜分（彼之住址 Airodrome Road, Srinagar）。下午與錢參事同去看房子，但不得其門而入，印度 P. W. D. 辦事殊糊塗也。體仍不甚適，寫 Agra 紀遊詩中「相塚」與「席格利故宮」兩小記。晚臨書譜並閱 Churchill: ＂The Gathering Storm＂ 。馬太調財政部長。
