在加爾各答總領事官舎，天氣濕熱，甚不舒服。上午接見華僑代表數人，飛機原定下午二時起飛，乃於一時半抵機場，不意一發動機壞了，修至三時許未曾修好，公司決定明早五時開，乃廢然而返。六時劉廣秋夫婦邀看南美風光的電影，八時返官舍，於晚飯頓感不適，大瀉，則囘到樓上睡倒。
