晨赴樂武官處打針。聞新民、東溪失守消息。上午十一時捷克大使Yaroslav Sejnoha偕秘書J.Hol'y來作首次拜訪，談約一小時。彼係老外交官出身，談捷克情形，彼謂不得不親蘇，因英、美不能擔保其邊界，並述慕尼黑往事。彼謂昨日捷內閣改組後，共產黨勢力加強，彼謂貝尼斯總統頗感痛苦。但余不敢與彼深談，因捷爲蘇附庸國，其使節態度，不能以其門面語爲斷也。晚與吳蔚人詳談。看印度史。
