七月六日　 星期日 　　上午批閱公文、見客。下午看 Ambassador Dood’s Diary 及有關參考書。晚忽有文思，預備 在 India League 講稿，題爲“Freedom in Fear,＂ 一氣寫成，至一時半方畢。 　 　　月色蕩漾園中成詩三首 　 　　 獨　 酌 　　擧杯邀明月，月到酒杯中；更顧身旁影，誰云四座空。 　 　　 夜　 臥 　　樹頭星接葉間燈，風送歌喉別有情；爲感月波淸夢短，臥看松鼠演縱橫。 　　　閑 　步 　　獨詠新詞踏草行，月中毫髮倍分明；蛛絲穿入松針裏，似報征衫有裂痕。
