六月二十六日 星期四 司機云彼已能開車，主張下午動身。與羌君共進午餐。下午再訪 Bhabha 博士，談交換中國學
生事，並繼續看其炭畫作品。下午三時開車離Simla，行三十英里至Solan，再行二十六英里至 Kahka 至山脚矣。車夜行速率較大，夜見白牛、白駝運輸車甚多，因晚間較涼也。途中成詩三首。晚十一時 抵使館，熱已不堪矣。 上午曾作家信，爲二孩說明學校情形。
