之四十。十二時歸，留羌君與 Wingeen 在此午餐。 接使館長途電話，謂二十八之 Wored Affairs Council 之會改爲 At Home，不需演說，吿以二 十五日囘 Delhi, 連接家信三封，甚慰。 聞天津吿急，甚憂。 下午偕羌君散步城中，購書多種。
