五月十八日　 星期日 　 晴，熱。蔡維屛赴加城，囑崔昌政往送。今晨印督蒙巴頓亦同時飛英，與英內閣商轉移政權事。 印囘雙方事前均到彼處長談，或謂有小結果，或謂無結果，然蒙之此行，實繫印囘分合之決定性也。 　 接蒙巴頓夫人謝扇子之親筆函。 　 夜臥園中 　 樹高影掛月輪邊，臥對蒼天懶問天；惟恐毒蛇來噬腕，多情松鼠護床前。 　 冰壺莫解文園濁，桂魄難生子夜涼；好掖嫦娥下玉砌，斷無凝露濕霓裳。
