十一月三日　 星期六 　 上午仍開會，聽演講，無出色者。 　 下午在 Claridge's 坐，五時偕通伯赴印度人 Prof. Gangulee 姪女結婚之茶會，其姪女爲泰戈 爾之孫女。遇一波蘭女子 Dr. Annelese Bulling 硏究中國古代文化凡十四年，頗有趣。 　 往看英國劍舞，不及看，但見其 Folk Dance 卽囘，旋赴上海樓蔣彞晚飯。蔣在英爲兒童讀物及 風景畫，自署 A Silent Traveller，其書及畫均甚銷行。晚與適之先生談至十二時，爲北大事，知騮 先不能來，牛津學位贈胡。元任遷往 South Kensington Hotel 。
