十月二十三日　 星期二 　 早四時起身，至 Victoria House 集就 British Overseas Airways Corporation （公司簡稱 BOAC）所備車至離加城約二十英里處上水上飛船（Flying Boat），四引擎名Coorang號，中甚舒適 。除中國代表圑五人外，餘以新加坡戰俘最多。中午至印度中部Gwalior加油，停一大湖中，上岸 吃茶，半小時後續飛，橫貫印度。至 Karachi 爲一新式城市，在亞拉伯海之旁，爲一重要根據地，
營房及運輸船甚多。 　 赴該公司所備之 Carlton Hotel，舊式。作家信，晚十時離旅館，經海關等手續後，十一時半換 陸機起飛，不及水機舒適。
