八月十八日 星期三 在廸化。上午在招待所，中午在郊外野營地，由盛督辦招待野餐，到各機關官長，盛督辦歡迎詞
甚懇切，當致答詞，亦以極懇摯態度出之。飯後聽民政、財政、建設三廳長報告，知其努力情形。三 時三刻方散。答詞大意上半關於監察使，下半關於考察團。下午四時赴吳特派員醴泉茶會。晚與逸周 、君怡、竹銘在盛督辦處晚餐。
